Come,

“Visit Carson City!”

If you don’t

It will be a pity.

The Carson City Visitors Bureau

It’s just downtown

On the corner of Washington and Carson St.

Is where it is found.

It’s been here in town

25 years or more.

But now it has a new look

When you walk through their door.

This is our capital

Blending the old with the new.

A rich history behind us

And so much to do.

They have a creative team

Joel, Kyle and Chris

And talented backup

How could they miss.

Is it biking or hiking?

Perhaps “Epic Rides?”

We are the best mountain bike race

In the whole countryside.

Perhaps, is it art that you’re interested in?

We have a plethora of galleries

With fine art

A win, win.

Perhaps you want some history, too?

Just walk our Blue Line Trail

Visit our fine museums

Or take a trip on the V&T rail.

Now, I mustn’t forget the shops

And fine restaurants that abound.

Yes, I will be your cheerleader.

We have the best darn town!

P.S. You know I am a poet

It’s plain for you to see.

But stop in the Visitors Bureau.

I also paint and write poetry.
