Lynn Klinger Bryant

January 10, 1948 - December 9, 2016

Lynn Klinger Bryant was called home to the Lord on December 9, 2016 after a brave 3 ½ year fight with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her family.

Lynn was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 10, 1948 to parents Walter and Thekla Klinger. She grew up in Greenville, Tennessee and Palos Verdes, California where she graduated from Rolling Hills High School in 1966. She was united in holy marriage to James (JB) Spencer Bryant, Jr on June 16, 1972 and were blessed with 2 sons, James and Michael. Lynn and JB made their home in Malibu, California where Lynn was a bank manager. In 1987 Lynn and JB moved to Carson City, Nevada where they purchased a building in Virginia City to run several businesses, the most recent being Barrels-O-Candy. Lynn and JB loved to visit their home in Mulege, Mexico during the winters where Lynn loved to be on the water, whale watching and being warm.

Lynn was an amazing cook and loved to throw and host parties. Lynn had a strong faith in the Lord and was a lifelong Lutheran, as well as a longtime member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents,

Walter and Thekla.

She is survived by her husband JB, two sons and their wives, James (Rebecca) of Reno, NV and Michael (Ana) of Carson City, Nevada; her grandchildren, Anika, Saber and James; brothers Dave and Tom; and sisters Debbie and Thea.Lynn will be forever remembered as a devout wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

A funeral will be held on December 29, 2016 at 2pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1837 Mountain Street, Carson City, Nevada with reception following at Halen home, 5039 S. Edmonds, Carson City, Nevada.
