Peggy Lynn (Bryant) Swallow

Peggy Lynn (Bryant) Swallow, 67, passed away January 25, 2016 in Carson City, Nevada. She was born on August 13, 1948 at Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles, California to Grover Thomas and Ruth Bryant. Peggy grew up in Hawthorne, California and remained in the area until the late 1980’s when she relocated to Carson City, Nevada. Mrs. Swallow was a long-time employee at Harley-Davidson Financial Services. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Riley, who passed away in 2009. She will be dearly missed by her two sons, Richard Swallow (his wife Penelope) and Randall Swallow; four sisters Patricia Bruder, Kathy Bowerman, Susan Bryant-Birresborn, and Laurie Eisma; two brothers, Michael Bryant and Tim Bryant; two granddaughters, Rachael and Natalie Swallow; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Peggy was a free spirit who loved the outdoors, especially hiking around Lake Tahoe. She always believed she could add compassion and goodness to each person’s life. Peggy has left her body, but her light and spirit live on. Services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
