With plans underway to create a new, walkable and bicycle-friends downtown, Carson City’s business development manager is planning to present about raising the bar at the next Chamber of Commerce Soup’s On! luncheon.
Michael Salogga will talk about raising the bar on anything and everything in Carson City at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 24 at the Gold Dust West.
Salogga, business development manager for Carson City and the business counselor for the Small Business Development Center, will provide insight about how to raise the “collective” bar, beginning one at a time.
Salogga is proficient in business counseling, website design and social media management. He works with teens at Carson High School as an advisory member of the CHS Technical Skills Committee and has worked as a Shark for the CHS business classes for the past three years. He also serves as a mentor for the Adams Hub incubator.
Salogga earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University. He has been employed by the City of Carson City for more than four years.
Soups On! is open to the public. Lunch costs $16 per person.
