Carson High’s bowling team subdued Hug, 30-15, last week at the Grand Sierra Resort.

The Senators used many of their reserves against the Hawks. Paxton Spence (178-485), Rylan Fancher (186-505), Cindi Redus (179,426) and Ray Ceragioli (202,562) all rolled their high games. Samantha Hinton had a 187-545, Matt Liddell had a 203-564, Chesney Minor had a 171-492, Matt Hinton had a 223-586 and Dustin Floyd had a 216-632.

Alec Fletcher had a 266-708, Skylar Belcher had a 267-706, Conlin Herrick rolled a 241-598 and Luis Celedan had a 227-596.


Silver State gymnasts compete in Reno

Danica Studley won first on vault and was second on bars and floor en route to the first place all-around title in the Senior A Level 3 category. Teammate Brooklyn Gundy was second on vault and first on floor. In Senior B Level 3, Chloe Byrne was second on vault, third on beam and second place all-around.

In Level 6, Elle Liebendorfer was third on vault and floor, second on bars and third all-around. Bella Planeta took third on the beam. In Level 5, Alexis Gardner qualified for optional level gymnastics.


CMS wins volleyball championship

Carson Middle topped Pau Wa Lu, 25-12 and 25-16, Saturday to win the eighth-grade TahNeva championship.
