Elks help students

Tahoe-Douglas Elks Lodge recently provided books to 29 students at C.C.Meneley Elementary School. Student were each given three books selected by the school specifically for the child. Each student also received a challenging puzzle, a stuffed animal, cards and additional books. The effort was funded by Elks member donations and a Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation in Chicago. Shown receiving books fourth grader Eli Frank and Elks Past President John Louritt.
