Andrew Getas

Andrew Getas D.D.S. passed away on December 19, 2015. He was born on June 2nd, 1957 in Maryland. The family then moved to Pacifica, California to settle. Andy graduated valedictorian in high school. He got his undergraduate at Santa Clara College and was accepted into USC Dental School. Andy began his dental practice in the Carson Valley in 1983 then moved to Carson City in 1989. He was loved by all of his patients. Andy loved jazz, was an accomplished drummer and loved cycling. He had a love for people and a love for God. His family and friends will remember his intelligence, great sense of humor and generosity. Andy is survived by two daughters and two grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday January 17, 2016 at Silver Hills Community Church 1066 Mallory Way, Carson City.
