Lillian Hansen of Silver Springs, Nev., formerly a resident of Hayward, Cal. entered eternal life on Dec. 24, 2015. Lillian was born Dec. 3, 1926 to Flossie (Eckart) Greengo and A. Everett Greengo in Albert lee, Minn. As a young girl, Lillian and her family moved to Cal. and settled in Hayward. Most of her life, she was a stay at home mom. She had three daughters and one son. She worked occasionally at Winchell’s donut shop and later at McDonald’s. In 2001, she was widowed and spent a brief time in Hayward with her oldest daughter, then moved to Silver Springs where she was lovingly cared for by her youngest daughter until the time of her death. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Flossie & Everett Greengo, stepfather Waldamar Pedersen; husband Gordon Hansen; brother Willis Greengo; sister Margaret Pounder; and her beloved son Kenneth Hembrough. She is survived by daughters Paulette Gilkerson; Linda Monroe, and Donna Hembrough. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Lillian will be greatly missed by her family and her dear friends. She will be remembered for her smile and her unconditional love. She will also be remembered for how she never failed to make us laugh and was never afraid to laugh at herself. A celebration of life service will be held on Jan. 17th at Fernley Free Methodist Church. 100 W. 100 St. in Fernley, Nev. Reception to follow after service.
