National Honor Society invites you to participate in Polar Plunge. It will take place in Lake Tahoe on March 19. That’s right, it’s not a mistake. You get to plunge into icy cold waters of Lake Tahoe. Why? It’s the biggest fundraiser to support Special Olympics. Special Olympics of Nevada provides year round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This year’s theme is rock-n-roll. You get to dress up in all kinds of crazy costumes and have fun. Join our team at iPolarPlunge.com, find our location — South Lake Tahoe, March 19, and join the team. Our team name is Carson High School Senators. You need to raise $25 to be able to plunge. If you don’t like cold water, you can register as a chicken and still participate in all the festivities and fun surrounding this event. Questions? Email Mrs. Glenn at eglenn@carson.k12.nv.us.
