Virginia Delores Clendenon passed away in the presence of her children and loved ones in Caldwell, Idaho, June 29, 2016. She was born in Dinuba, California, on August 5, 1920. She was married to Donald Chester Clendenon on September 5, 1937 in St. Helena, California, and enjoyed 76 years together until his death in 2014. Although Virginia spent much of her life operating a robust photographic business in Carson City, Nevada, she is most remembered for her love and devotion for her family. Known to all as a fierce defender of her children and supporter of anyone who she perceived as an underdog, she will be missed by many. Her final desire was that she might be rejoined with her family in heaven.

Mom is survived by her three children, Judy Wilson (Jack) of Lincoln City, OR, Brian (Shirley) Clendenon of Caldwell, ID, and Kirby (Judith) Clendenon of Caldwell, ID; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 7 great

great-grandchildren. Her love has been a river of support for her children; and will be more than enough to carry us though the rest of our journey in life. Our hearts are filled with love for you Mama. Our gratitude goes out to the phenomenal care given to Mom by Heart’n Home Hospice and the many wonderful caregivers she’s had.
