A man wearing tape on his face, who robbed a Kingsbury bank in June, is being credited with at least one other robbery in California last week. The Bandaged Bandit wears medical or athletic tape over his face to conceal his identity.
He first struck on June 29, when he robbed the U.S. Bank located on Kingsbury Grade.
Two days later, he hit the Chase Bank in El Dorado Hills, and then was apparently quiet for two weeks.
Last week, on Thursday, he entered the Wells Fargo in Cameron Park, Calif., but left without conducting a transaction or robbing the bank. According to the FBI, he entered the U.S. Bank in Folsom, Calif., wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a bright yellow Oregon Ducks ballcap with a green brim.
He’s described as 5 feet, 8-11 inches tall, with blond hair.
In addition to the Ducks hat, he’s also been photographed wearing a black fleece jacket and blue jeans, a long-sleeved gray shirt and white shorts, and a gray long-sleeved raglan shirt.
In each instance, he handed the teller a note, said he had or showed a weapon and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The FBI said the man should be considered armed and dangerous.
