The Carson Blue Jays swept to two wins the Reno A’s Tournament Saturday, beating Reno A’s Gold 10-4 and the Battle Born Outlawz 7-3 at Bishop Manogue High School.
The Blue Jays scored six runs in the sixth inning on their way to beating the A’s at Bishop Manogue High School. They scored on a fielder’s choice, a walk by Kellen McDermott, a three-run error and an error.
Landon Truesdale went 2-for-4 with three runs and an RBI for Carson. Ben Nelson pitched two innings of scoreless relief for the win.

Ben Nelson got the win in relief for the Carson Blue Jays. Nelson pitched two innings and allowed no runs.
Against the Outlawz, Bryce Moyle was strong at the plate and on the mound. Moyle had one hit and two RBi and also struck out 11 over 5 2/3 innings.
Other offensive stars for Carson were Jace Keema and Kahle Good and Nelson picked up the save.
