Helen Stewart Roberts passed away peacefully on June 21, 2016. Born in Nelson, Wisconsin, Helen attended Maplewood Academy in Minnesota and Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska studying pre-med. Her studies were interrupted by her marriage in 1952 and raising four children. After living in four different states, the family settled down in Hammond, Wisconsin. After her divorce, Helen returned to college and received a bachelors and then Master’s Degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. With only the youngest daughter, Ruthie, living at home, she relocated to Fallon, Nevada and worked at the Fallon Convalescent Center and the local hospital for many years.Predeceased by: her parents, Harry and Myrtle Stewart, her brother Bob Stewart (Carson City) and her grandchildren Christopher and Ashlee.Survived by: her children Douglas (MN), Pamela (Reno), Christopher (WI) and Ruth Roberts (Reno); her siblings Virginia Pulis, Bert Stewart and Myrna States; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Private Interment will take place on June 27, 2016 in Fallon, Nevada.
