Guenter Streckfuss

Guenter Streckfuss, passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on June 19, 2016. Born in Bremen, Germany, Guenter lived in Toronto, Canada, and Santa Rosa, CA, before settling in Dayton, NV. Guenter worked for Volkswagen, Porsche of North America as well as Mercedes Benz during his 40 yr. career as an automotive technician. After that, Guenter turned his passion of landscaping into his own business for another 8 yrs. In addition to his love of cars, auto racing and landscaping, Guenter was also a passionate photographer. He is survived by his wife Margret; his daughter, Doris; and his siblings, Heinz Streckfuss, Fanny Straupe, and Agnes Maerz, and their families. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 10:00 am at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City, NV 89706. There will be a reception at the Chapel immediately following, from 11:00 am to 12 pm. A memorial service in Santa Rosa, CA is
