The Department of Motor Vehicles is now offering appointments to customers in Carson City.
DMV Director Terri Albertson said the service was expanded to the capital after a successful pilot at the Reno office in November and December.
“This system is a major enhancement to our customer service and has proven popular,” said Albertson.
Motorists can make an appointment up to 30 days in advance on the website at dmvnv.com/dashpass.
Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday in Carson City. The appointment system is an enhancement to the existing Dash Pass system that checks in walk-in customers using their cell phone number.
DMV officials plan to expand the system to Las Vegas in the near future.
