Nicca Matteucci

Ms. Nicca Matteucci Getto passed away on February 29, 2016 due to complications related to septosemia and pneumonia in Sparks, Nevada at the age of 64 years old. Nicca was born to Remo and Etta Mae Matteucci on May 24, 1951 in Fallon Nevada. She was the oldest of three children and attended Churchill County High School. She married Michael Getto in 1972 and worked as an optometrist assistant for Dr. Russell Guisti before working as the office manager at LaVaca Dairy for 18 years. Nicca is survived by her only son Guiseppe Getto of North Carolina, her nieces and nephews; Shelly Matthews, Ricky Matthews his wife Brandi, Jacy Lund his wife Teia, Dustin Popejoy, Angelina Matteucci, and Cesira Matteucci. Great nieces and nephews Damieon Matthews, Shasta Matthews, Brenden Williams, Kylie Matthews, and Jackson Matteucci. Her sister Carrie Matteucci and her brother Stephano Matteucci and his wife Joann. She is preceded in death by her parents Remo Matteucci and Etta Mae Chase. Please join us in celebrating her life at the Fallon Eagles Hall 7977 Reno Highway on Friday March 11, 2016 starting at 1 p.m. There will be no formal church service and the spreading of her ashes will be a private ceremony for immediate family only.
