Carson City road report for March 21-27

The following information applies to the period of March 21-27.

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts as a result of the project, see the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources will be updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

On Monday, March 21, Arrowhead Drive and Hospitality Way will each be closed for a 15-minute period just east of Carson Street at some time between 9 a.m. and noon due to utility work.

Lane closures are expected at the following locations due to utility work:

Center Drive near Topsy Lane — Monday and Tuesday only

Curry Street between Telegraph and Spear streets — shoulder work Tuesday night only

Presti Lane between Medical Parkway and Eagle Valley Ranch Road — shoulder work only

There will be intermittent lane closures on the south shoulder of King Street near the intersection of Ormsby Boulevard. Minor delays are possible.

There will be periodic lane and ramp closures on southbound I-580 and the southbound Eastlake Boulevard merge lane due to the construction/extension of an auxiliary lane at this location. In addition, the Bellevue Road bridge over I-580 in Washoe Valley will continue to be closed due to maintenance. Detours will be signed.
