Bully’s, restaurant, 3530 N. Carson St., 100 points.
China Jade Horse, 963 Topsy Lane, Suite 310, 100 points.
Gold Dust West, The Grille, 2171 E. Highway 50, 100 points.
Gold Dust West, Ole Ole Mexican Restaurant, 3171 E. Highway 50, 100 points.
International House of Pancakes, 3883 S. Carson St., 100 points.
Qdoba Mexican Grill, caterer, 933 Topsy Lane, 100 points. Bully’s, bar and lounge, 3530 N. Carson St., 99 points. The ice scoops were being improperly stored.
McDonald’s, 3200 Market St., 98 points. The interior surfaces of the customer ice machine were dirty. The bottom of the ice machine’s deflector shield was dirty. Grease and food buildup were found between the grill and fryer units.
Panaderia el Trigal, bakery, 3189 E. Highway 50, 98 points. Snack foods at the front service counter were not properly labeled. Sanitizer residual was missing from a cloth storage bucket, corrected on site.
Sassafras, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, 96 points. Large pots and dishwasher racks were being stored on the floor. There was no certified food handler on site.
Gold Dust West, The Grill, 94 points. The final rinse temperature of the main dishwasher was at 110 degrees instead of the required 180 degrees or higher. Grease and food debris were found between the grill and fryer units on the cook line. There was no hot water available at one of the kitchen hand sinks.
La Salsa Grill, 963 Topsy Lane, Suite 316, 93 points. An employee filled cups with ice without the ice scoop. Floor and sink surfaces and the roof of the ice machine were dirty. There was no certified food handler on site.
Qdoba Mexican Grill, 933 Topsy Lane, Suite 420, 90 points. An employee, whose hair was not tied back, didn’t wash his or her hands before donning clean gloves to serve food. Staff drink cups were found uncovered in the kitchen. The floor sinks, ceiling fans, walls, tiles near the grill and areas inside the dishwasher needed to be cleaned. There was no certified food handler on site.
King Buffet/Sushi King, 3790 Highway 395, Suite 201, 82 points. Dish racks and food items were being improperly stored. Bowls were being used to scoop dry foods. Boxes of food were being stored on the floor of the walk-in freezer. Uncovered tubs of fish were being stored on the floor of the walk-in, corrected on site. Spice containers were missing lids. Dirty cloths were found on food preparation surfaces and shelves in the kitchen, corrected on site. The can opener blade and soda nozzles were dirty. Paper towels were missing from the kitchen hand sink, corrected on site. Floor sinks and shelves in the kitchen needed to be cleaned. Grease buildup was found on pipes inside the dishwasher. Cabinets and fan guards inside the walk-in refrigerator were dirty. Caulking was moldy. The back door was propped open next to an active food preparation site. There was no certified food handler on site.
