The Fernley Republican Women’s newest adopted soldier is SGG Victor Joecks, who is deployed to Kuwait with his Army National Guard unit. While on active duty, he is on leave from his position of executive vice president at the Nevada Policy Research Institute.
Edibles that Joecks has requested are fruit slices, gummy bears, beef jerky, cookies, nuts (bagged or canned), Nature Valley Oats and Honey bars and flavor packets for water bottles. He also requested shaving cream and sunscreen.
Like all soldiers, Joecks would like to receive cards and letters from home. Contributions can be brought to the FRW meetings or sent to FRW, P.O. Box 412, Fernley, Nevada 89408.
