Carson City resident Allan Souligny passed away on April 25, 2016 at the age of 69. Born in California, Allan moved to Gardnerville in 1977 and became a Carson City resident in 1996. In 2009, Allan retired from his position as a
Management Analyst for the State of Nevada Gaming Control board after 32 years of dedicated service. Surviving family members are his wife, Bobbie; brother, William (Gail), 2 nieces, and 4 grand-nieces. Friends held a special place in Allan’s heart and he was always grateful for their friendship. Allan will be remembered as a kind and compassionate man who cared deeply about others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A proficient writer, Allan used his considerable talent to advocate for the humane and responsible treatment of all animals. To honor his wishes, there will be no memorial service.
