Marcos Leo “Marc” Welch

Gone too soon... Marcos Leo “Marc” Welch was born on September 28,1954 in Pocatello, Idaho, but spent the majority of his life in Nevada. He was a middle child in a family of 6 children; he was raised with an older brother, 2 older sisters and 2 younger sisters. He also had an older half-brother. Marc passed away at Carson-Tahoe Hospital on the morning of April 18, 2016, following a brief illness. Marc was a loving, generous, hard-working man with a great sense of humor.He loved working with his hands and was a skilled carpenter & architect. He also loved being outdoors under the sun. He was preceded in death by his father William Welch, who died 9 months earlier. Marc is survived by his mother Marie Welch, 6 siblings [Lenore (Brian) Gnos, Bill (Leanne) Welch, Teresa Brown, Yvonne (Dave) Cunningham, Becky (John) Aguirre, and Mike (Terry) Bird], 6 children [Athena, Mike (Sarah), Krissy, Shay, Marci, & Angel (Victor)], and 13 grandchildren. Marc will be missed by ALL who knew and loved him.
