Carson High School theater students honored

The Carson High School Theatre Arts Department recently held its annual DRAMMY AWARDS in the Brewery Arts Center Ballroom. Several students were acknowledged for excellence in performance both onstage and off, and many were given special honors.

Newly inducted members of International Thespian Society Troupe No. 5180 include: Pat Adolfo; Alex Alonso; Brittany Clegg; Autumn Cuellar (Honor Thespian Status); James Fakkema; Kaylee Gordon; Alexa Haight; Megan Jackson; Robin Johnson (Honor Thespian Status); Kailyn Kiesow; Taylor Koop; Amy Lalonde; Delaney Lauderbaugh (Honor Thespian Status); Katherine Moran; Carly Peckham; Melanie Proctor (Honor Thespian Status); Robert Richards; Cory Sawyer; Tayler Smith; Sarah Thiele (Honor Thespian Status); Megan Tingle; Carson Wroth; and Jamilla Zaid.

CHS Theatre Letter Recipients include: Autumn Cuellar; Robin Johnson; Delany Lauderbaugh; Melanie Proctor and Sarah Thiele.

Drama Club Officers for 2016-2017 are Sarah Thiele and Melanie Proctor, copresidents; Alexa Haight, vice president; Delany Lauderbaugh, secretary; McKenzie Henley-Ballard, treasurer; Adam Lackey and Jennifer Sanchez-Pardo, publicists and historians; and Cory Sawyer, Ashley Moose, Tiffany Odneal, representatives.
