A Thanksgiving Day message from Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval:
“Each year Nevadans join the American tradition and gather with family and friends to give thanks for our abundance of blessings. This Thanksgiving, Nevadans can reflect on our dynamic and vibrant state. Thanks to the tireless efforts of so many, Nevada has regained all of the jobs lost during the recession and maintains the title of one of the fastest growing states in the union.
“We’ll also reflect upon the honorable traditions of courage, service, and devotion to country carried on today by the members of our military who defend our nation and protect its promises.
“Every day I am grateful to serve as Governor of the State of Nevada, the cornerstone of the great American West, where individualism is celebrated and anything is possible.
“As we enter the holiday season, I hope all Nevadans celebrate our history, draw inspiration from those who led before us, and strive to inspire and equip the generations to come.”
