Stephanie was born June 18, 1966 in Fremont, California, and died of complications from cancer October 1, 2016 in Boise Idaho. She was 50.


She moved to Dayton, Nevada in June of 1977, and graduated from Dayton High School in 1985.


She is preceded in death by her grandparents Manuel August Silva, Mary Stella Chaves/Silva, Paul Joseph Kegresse and Alice Irene Estes/Kegresse.


Stephanie is survived by her parents David and Christina Silva of Dayton, Nevada; Sister Suzanne Silva/Finch, husband Geoff of Nampa, Idaho; brothers David Silva, wife Gail; and Paul Silva, wife Charlotte of Dayton, Nevada and

numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.


Stephanie’s favorite quote was by naturalist/writer John Muir; it goes “The Mountains are calling and I must go”. Her ashes will be scattered over the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho, where she loved to backpack, hike, camp and explore with her family, friends and dogs Koda and Guido.
