The Salvation Army expects to help more than 1,100 families for both Christmas presents for kids and a holiday meal basket through its Angel Tree Program this year.
The problem: It needs space.
The Salvation Army is looking for free warehouse/retail space where Angel Tree gifts can be sorted and distributed this holiday season.
The ideal place would be about 3,000 square feet or more, near a bus stop.
The nonprofit is hoping to secure a location by Oct. 20 and will need access to the site Dec. 1-23.
The donation will be considered a gift-in-kind for tax deduction purposes and the donor will receive recognition as a partner for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.
