Lois Jean Mitchell, 81 of Carson City, NV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Ormsby Acute Care facility after a short illness.
Lois was born in Los Angeles, CA to Curtis and Rose Shannon. Married to Laurence (Al) Albert Mitchell in June of 1973. They enjoyed a full and happy life together until Al’s death in 2009.
Moving to Carson Plaza after Al’s passing, Lois was known for her sense of humor, keen sense of strategy, while playing cards, and was one who never missed a chance to show her skills at Bingo!
Lois is survived by sisters, Joan, Sharon and Linda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends including, Leslie, Elaine, Claire and Anna.
Lois was generous, kind of heart and possessed a sense of humor that would make everyone smile! She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and will always be in our hearts.
Lois has requested that no memorial service be held in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
