Robert William Baker, died peacefully, but unexpectedly, in his sleep on September 7, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Moscow, Idaho.

The past two years Robert and his brother James ‘Buck’ Baker have been in the process of moving to Moscow to be closer to family. Buck moved

to Moscow in June of 2016 and has settled into his apartment. Robert came up in the end of August. After his first Doctors appointment in

17 years, he passed the next morning (likely how he would have liked it).

Robert lived in Fallon for 36 years. He owned his own plumbing company called Baker Plumbing. He retired in 1998, shortly after the death

of his wife, Mary Jo Baker.

He loved hunting, fishing, metal detecting and later enjoyed bidding on storage units. But undoubtedly Bob’s favorite past time, and where you would generally find him, was taking in a good book on his front porch.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Mary Josephine Baker, his sister-in-laws Shirley Baker and Dorothy Kelton.

Robert leaves behind his best friend and brother James ‘Buck’ Baker; children, Bonnie and her husband Andy Boyd; his son Roger and his wife Carmen Baker; 7 grandchildren, Sarah & John, Maggie and Lee, Matthew, Patrick and Britany, Austin, Garrett and Samantha; and 4 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Brannu, Loyal and Benjamin.

Please join our family for a celebration of Robert Baker on Saturday, October 15, 2016, 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Methodist Church (280 East Stillwater, Fallon, NV).
