Edward Vincent Anthony King, Jr., who went by the name “Tony”, passed away early on October 24th, 2016, at Legacy-Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, OR, after a long period of declining health. He was 71.
A fine meat-and-potatoes cook and lifelong 49ers fan who retired from IBM, Tony entered a second career as Home Delivery/Circulation Manager at Nevada Appeal and Record-Courier, where he was famous for his banana bread. He was also known for his teasing and his sense of humor.

Tony has left behind his siblings Patty Mendenhall (Robert), Arthur King (Irene), Kathy King and Celia King. Most importantly, his legacy continues through daughters Meredith King, Alison Croll (Ben), Sarah Hall (Tristan) , sons
Michael King and David From (Dacia), and grandchildren Delaney and Devin From, Nikolas and Ellasyn Hall, and Oliver Croll.
His family and friends are glad he is at peace, but we will miss him very much.
