Adrian John Tlachac, 88, of Carson City, died peacefully Monday, September 19th, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 12, 1928 in Algoma, Wisconsin to John and Ella (Andre) Tlachac. He graduated from Algoma High School and then served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1946-1949.
Adrian married Millie Seljan on June 28, 1952, and they were blessed with over 64 years of marriage. They moved with their five children to Carson City, Nevada in 1964. Adrian was a brick/stone mason throughout his career.
He enjoyed planting and tending his garden, and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Millie; four children, Mary Beth (John) Olson, Lynne (Steve) Gwiazdowski, Jeff (Eve) Tlachac, Gregg (Ila) Tlachac and his daughter-in-law Paula Tlachac; 9 grandchildren, Chris, Sarah, Lindsey, Chad, Jake, Anna, Tori, Austin and Zach and ten great-grand children.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mike; parents and three brothers, Donald, Bernard & Giles.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at 10:30am.
