Edward Leroy Moser Sr., 79, passed away at his home in Dayton, Nevada on September 15th following a lengthy illness. Ed was born on March 1, 1937 in Dow, Oklahoma.
After a long career in traffic management, Ed retired from Peterbilt Motors in Denton, Texas in 1995, and had lived in Dayton, NV since his retirement.
He and his wife Anne recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Together they raised 6 children in Union City, California; Margaret Howard of Modesto, CA, Tamara Cosand and Teresa McAdams both of Dayton, Edward Moser Jr. of Castro Valley, CA, Michael Moser of Tracy, CA, and Maureen Williams of Troutville, Oregon.Ed also leaves behind many others whose lives he touched; Sons-in-law Rick Williams, Alan Cosand and Jack Ralph III, Daughter-in-law Penny Moser, Jon & Joanie Brothers of Clovis, CA, Nephews Mark, Eric and D.J. Woodhall, Nieces Julie Mette, Kelly Medina, Tori McBride and Tracy Clarke, and Cousin Cindy Gault.
Ed was preceded in death by a Granddaughter, Kelly Leanne Smith, and leaves behind 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren, all of whom are left with many wonderful memories of their Gramps.
Ed was respected by his peers, loved by his family, and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
