Presidential election: It’s Trump’s to lose

In “It’s hers to lose” in the Appeal on Sept. 18, columnist Fred LaSor blames Hillary’s serial lying for her sagging polls.

Yes, and more. Peggy Noonan’s recent Wall Street Journal column details the quarter century old Clinton scandal ritual: lie, deny, revise, claim not to remember specifics, stall for time. When it passes, call the story “old news,” sneer at “questions that have already been answered.”

The ritual continues: Benghazi, the email scandal, and the Clinton Crime Family Foundation. Empress Hillary, to quote Mark Steyn, has no shoes; they’re in the gutter, lost as she collapsed head first into an armored van. We’re now on version 2.1 of Hillary’s medical narrative.

There is no equivalency between Clinton’s criminal behavior and Trump’s political incorrectness. Donald Trump, says Dr. James Dobson, reminds him of two rather crude historical characters, Winston Churchill and General George Patton, both great leaders.

After the most recent bombings, the ISIS inspired stabbings in Minnesota, and the attacks on police, Hillary’s promise to continue Obama’s reckless Syrian immigration and the Democrats’ continued coddling of the anti-cop Black Lives Matter movement, I’d say it’s Trump’s to lose.
