A memorial service for Jeff Robinson of Fallon was held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on Sunday, July 16th, where he served as warden, vestry member, worship leader and treasurer for many years.
Jeffrey Wayne Robinson was born on December 7, 1941, to Charles and Malinda Robinson in Orange, CA, the oldest of three sons.
He died following a brief illness on July 13, 2017, at Banner Churchill Hospital.
Jeff moved to Fallon in 1967 and was owner and operator of Fallon Livestock Supply. He married Meredith Robinson on April 4, 1971, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in a ceremony officated by Father Carl Tamblyn of Holy Trinity and blessed by Father Sheehee of St. Patrick’s.
As an insurance and real estate broker, he owned and operated Pioneer Brokerage for 30 years with partner Don Bowman. With another partner, Rick Cassazza of Reno, he built the Stillwater Plaza.
Jeff loved ranching, golf, and providing for his family. He welcomed others into his home and lived out his faith by accepting, supporting, and raising up the people whose lives he touched.
He was a member of the Fallon Rotary Club for many years, and sat on the school board.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Merrie; children, Matthew David (Kate), Katherine Marie (special friend Ryan), and Jonathan Charles (Dana); his grandchildren, Damian, Lukas, Harvey, Ruby; and brothers, Steven Charles (Marsha) and Bruce LeRoy (Susie).
