In response to letter about Roy Moore’s bid for Senate

Regarding the Alabama Senate race, a Nov. 26 letter to the editor in the Nevada Appeal insulted the voters of Alabama and the USA.

First, Mr. Van Alfen praised the Democratic candidate Doug Jones — pro choice, pro tax and spend, anti-Trump. His main qualification being the prosecutor in securing convictions of former KKK members in the murder of four girls in Birmingham, Ala., in 1963. He left an impression that these people were Republican supporters. Actually, the KKK was founded in Pulaski, Tenn., in the mid 1800s by Confederate army vets, becoming part of southern Democrats set to destroy Reconstruction by murdering black and white activists in Republican politics (source Wikipedia).

Van Alfen condemned a number of Christian Republicans, their discretions are minimal compared to Democrat icons such as Ted Kennedy leaving a woman to drown; Sen. Byrd, a recruiter for the KKK; Barney Frank conducting a gay prostitution ring from his town house; Bill Clinton, etc.

The worst insult was done for Christian voters of Alabama calling them uneducated and guilty of Caucasian inbreeding. All-time low ...
