Incline 53, Dayton 25
ZEPHYR COVE — Incline broke open a tight game with a 29-9 second-half surge to claim a win at the Whittell Tournament.
“Our biggest battle right now is rebounding at both ends of the floor,” said Dayton coach Kelly Frantz. “We are giving up rebounds at the defensive end which Incline turned into points.
“I think we ran the floor well, but as soon as the guards stopped pushing the ball, we took too long to get our offense set up, and we only were getting one shot at the hoop.”
Abby Sikora had six points and four rebounds, and Cassie Dickenson and Tamia Powell scored four points apiece.
