TRACY, Calif. — Lily Bouza scored 18 points to lead the Carson High girls basketball team to a 59-32 win over Silver Creek in the opening round of the Tracy Tournament.
Carson played with just seven players, as Haley Garver didn’t make the trip because of illness and Kirsten Iverson got sick Tuesday night and didn’t play.
“Most of Lily’s baskets were off steals and layups,” Carson coach Melissa Larsen said. “They worked hard.”
Trinity Beard finished with 11, Abby Golik had eight and Abbey Paulson finished with seven. Bella Kordonowy pulled down 11 rebounds.
