Talk of the Town: Gallery putting local art in spotlight

It’s “Carson City Art Gallery.”

Robin and Rich are the proprietors,

Please come look at their fine art and pottery.

They promote all local artists,

There are currently 50 now.

You should see the talent there

They should take a bow.

There is so much to look at:

Bronze cats and pottery done in Raku

Special gourds and handturned wood bowls

With a duck that will quack for you.

They work with the farmers market

The have an Art and Antique’s Faire.

They have spaces for 14 vendors.

If it’s art or an antique,

You can buy and sell it there.

Rich, he likes wind-up phonographs.

He will buy and sell to you.

And if you wish to keep one

He will restore and repair it, too.

They participate in Empty Bowls

To keep hunger in the world at bay.

As no one should go hungry,

We want it to go away.

You never know till you’ve been there.

Come and check it out.

Take one of their pottery classes.
