Thomas William Guard

May 23, 1965 ~ July 4, 2017

Thom was born in Indiana, later moving to Fairfax, Virginia, where he met and married Linda Marchin. When she passed suddenly in 2015, he moved to Carson City, NV. He found love again and was building a life with Moriah Williams. Sadly, we lost her in the same accident that took Thom.

With a passion for music, he played saxophone, guitar, drums and keyboards, devoting his life to refining and improving his skills. An accomplished musician, his music brought joy to others and purpose to his life.

Thom is survived by his mother Patty Guard; father Clifford Guard; and stepmother, Margaret; siblings Colleen Guard Bourland, Terry and Dale Schmitt, Ed and Tracey Guard; and a large extended family.

All are welcome to join the family as we celebrate his life at Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church, 405 East College Parkway, Carson, City on Sunday 16th July at 1:00pm.
