Paul passed away unexpectedly at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 11, 2017.
He was born in Boise, Idaho, on May 12, 1966 to Shanna Kae Peterson, and Paul Lynn Croghan.
Paul graduated with honors from Carson High School in 1985. He attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. He lived in Carson City, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Richmond, VA, and for the last 9 years, in Salt Lake City, UT.
His love of electronics and computers led him to a career in computer technology.
While residing in Los Angeles, he was employed as a production assistant, editing such movies as “Halloween 7” and “House on Haunted Hill”.
Paul loved spending time with his family (especially the holidays). He loved the outdoors, and also loved to travel, with his last trip being to Costa Rica with some of his friends.
Paul was single and had no children, but loved spending time with his siamese cat named Hiro.
He is survived by his mother, Shanna Peterson and step-father, John of Carson City; and his father, Paul L. Croghan and step-mother, Carmen, of South Carolina. He is also survived by his sister, Holly Forrest of Carson City; and his brother Ty Croghan and wife, Robin of North Carolina: numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a great niece and a great nephew.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the Silver Oaks Golf Club and Event Center, 1251 Country Club Dr. Carson City, NV on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 2 to 4 with the program at 2:30.
