I don’t know what happened with customer service in other companies, but it is alive and well at the Carson City Sears store.
The warranty was nearly expired when a problem arose with a machine that I purchased. Not getting a satisfactory response from the company that does service on this item, Sears stepped up to the plate and replaced the unit with a brand new machine.
