Philip Charles Beeghly

September 17, 1955 ~ June 17, 2017

Philip Charles Beeghly passed away June 17, 2017. He was born in Fallon, Nevada, and was a lifelong resident.

Over the years Philip worked at several local service stations operated by his father. He was noted for his strong work ethic and was always willing to help family and friends. When Philip took on a job, he cut no corners and was

always conscientious and thorough.

He was an avid sports fan, his favorite sports being football and basketball. He also enjoyed watching golf and drag racing. He collected old movies as well as memorabilia associated with actors, actresses and pop singers.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wen and Jenny Beeghly and Richard and Thelma Huntsman.

He is survived by his parents Bill Beeghly and Janet (Huntsman) Beeghly; a sister Marla (Beeghly) Smith and brother-in-law Robert Smith; nieces Kacy (Smith) Backlund, Ashley (Smith) Kuhn, Courtney (Smith) Angus and Brittney (Smith) Munk; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Philip’s warm and gentle spirit enriched the lives of many. He will be sorely missed.

A private graveside service was held at the Churchill County Cemetery on June 27, 2017, with members of his immediate family in attendance.
