James Wesley Biffle, 73, of Fallon, Nevada died peacefully in his sleep on March 13, 2017.
Jim was a native Nevadan, born in Yerington, NV to John and Josephine Biffle. He grew up roaming about the Bell Ranch, and was a lifelong Fallon resident, leaving only for a couple years of Army duty before returning home. Jim loved living in Fallon, and built several successful businesses with his wife of 50 years, Jan.
He enjoyed being a volunteer fireman and flying. He had a quick wit and at times quicker temper. He loved people and stories and relished the opportunity to roast his fellow fireman as they retired. Jim lived to hop in his pickup and drive the back roads of Nevada. We like to think he is out there now roaming around looking for a “short cut” to a new adventure.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Shami; Aunt, Carmen Bell; cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Jim’s request, a private service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Fallon Volunteer Fire Department, 20 North Carson Street, Fallon, NV. 89406.
