Carson City road report for March 20-26, 2017

The following information applies to the period of March 20-26:

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Detours will be in place:

Curry Street between Rhodes Street and the Nevada State Railroad Museum will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Thursday. Businesses can be accessed just north of Rhodes Street.

William Street between Curry and Minnesota streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Division Street will be open to north and south bound traffic.

The Intersection of Curry and William streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Telegraph Street between Carson and Nevada streets will be closed from 8 a.m. Thursday to 5 p.m. Friday; access along Curry will be maintained with flaggers.

Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Drivers are asked to use caution:

South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have the northbound travel lanes reduced to two from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Monte Rosa between Stanton Drive and Selby Street will have narrowed lanes from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

Armory Lane between Baker Drive and Donna Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Thurman Court will have narrowed lanes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Edmonds Drive between Fairview Drive and Lompa Lane will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Edmonds Drive between Livermore Lane and Snyder Avenue will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Rhodes Street from Curry Street west will have flood related repairs. Drivers are asked to use caution near work crews.
