Talk of the Town: Cosmopolitan charm found in Carson City’s Bleu Café

The Bleu Café

Came out of the blue

Conjured up by two sisters.

What else could they do?

But start the restaurant they had in mind

At 240 E. Winnie Lane

Oh, what a find!

Roberta, or “Bert,”

And Karey, or “B,”

Are wonderful nicknames,

They go by these.

They’ve traveled Europe

And a country mile.

Their restaurant cuisine

Reflects a continental style.

From traditional to eclectic

Beignets and a southern flair

You will have quite a variety

When you eat there.

They’re open now for breakfast and lunch

With an expansion for dinner

That is my hunch.

Come in check it out

As a foodie, I have no doubt

Your palate will take the test.

It’s great food at it’s best.

P.S. Their bread pudding is the best around.

They won first place at the Taste of Downtown
