Robert Michael Capps

July 19, 1952 ~ March 7, 2017

Robert Capps passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2017 at his home in Carson City, NV.

Robert was a long time resident of Carson City, where he worked in the auto sale industry. He was a respected sale person for G & G Auto Sales for many years before opening Robert’s Motor Company in 2006 with his wife Cynthia Jill.

Trucks were Robert’s passion, he worked 7 days a week spending hours upon hours detailing every truck to perfection to make sure they were re-sale ready.

Robert, a sports enthusiast, introduced his love of all sports to Jilly, they spent their evenings together watching whatever game was on TV and fielding calls about his trucks. The phone never stopped ringing.

Robert was going to be the best man for Sean, his son, at his wedding in September. We know he will be standing beside him in spirit with a smile in his heart.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Jill; son Sean Capps of Tillamook, OR; daughter Sara (Josh) of Spring Creek, NV; brother Kenneth Capps of Bonny Lake WA; sister Charlene Powers of Tacoma, WA; and grandsons Chase and Cody.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
