Margaret (Peggy) Saville

1946 ~ 2017

Margaret (Peggy) Saville, of Carson City, died on May 4th after a 13-year battle with brain cancer.

Peggy was born to Margaret and John Paterson in 1946. She was raised on Long island N.Y. After graduating from Hudson Valley Community College, she pursued a career in accounting.

Peggy married John, who was clearly the love of her life, in 1971. They moved to Carson City in 1998, where Peggy made a wonderful life and many kind friends through her varied dedicated volunteer activities. She also continued her accounting work until recently.

Peggy held leadership roles in the Rebekah’s and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She leaves behind her sister Nancy Paterson of Cape Coral, FL; her cousin Steven Espach of Sag Harbor, N.Y.; and her two Mischievous cats Gizmo and Sadie as well as many caring friends.

Visitation will be 3pm - 7pm Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St. Carson City, Nevada 775-882-4965.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 11am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1201 N. Saliman Rd. Carson City, Nevada
