Carson City Fire Department responded to reports of a fire burning in a field off of Country Village Drive, behind the Tanglewood Apartments around 3:40 p.m. Monday.
No structures were damaged following a small brush fire Monday afternoon.
The Carson City Fire Department responded to reports of a fire burning in a field off of Country Village Drive, behind the Tanglewood Apartments around 3:40 p.m. Monday. Crews responded and had the fire contained within about 15 minutes, with crews working after to avoid any additional fires from embers.
The Sheriff’s Office was on scene, prepared to begin evacuations for nearby residences, however, no structures were threatened in the end.
The cause of the fires still is unknown.
