Randy Scott Richardson

March 27, 1961 ~ September 23, 2017

Randy Scott Richardson laid his head upon Jesus’ chest on September 23, 2017 after showing us how to be courageous and brave in the face of cancer.

Randy was born in San Jose, CA on March 27, 1961 to Hal & Gwen Richardson.

Our family’s love for Randy continues here on earth from his son Tyler; daughter, Brittany; father, Hal; brother, Gary (wife Mary); sisters Lynne Fraser (husband Ray) and Kim Malfa (husband Joe); nephews Brad, Faine O’Neill (wife Randi), Graig Fraser (wife Megan), Kyle Fraser and Ryan Fraser and niece Melissa Lewis (husband John).

Randy was greeted in heaven by his mother, Gwen; uncle Brian; and many other predeceased family and friends.

His journey home will always be remembered by his 106 friends and family who surrounded him as the sun went down and he took his last breath. It was the perfect transition for a beautiful man who lived his life helping others. Randy showed his gratitude for 19 years in remission from cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society through annual Relay for Life events, Lance Armstrong Fundraisers and simply sitting beside an ailing friend. In his final week, Randy said the love of those who visited him was palatable and actually eased his pain. LOVE IS THE DRUG!! To quote Randy’s Awesome great nephew, Johnny, “Do not be sad, Randy will be in our hearts forever”.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Aquatechs, 14095 Mt. Bismark St. Reno, NV 89509 at 2:00 pm.
