Brynlee Shults and Brooklynn Whitaker battle Truckee on the CCHS tennis court.
Senior Thomas Jamieson and the senior duo of Myles Getto and Blake Malkovich won two of three bouts but it wasn’t enough to knock off Truckee on Tuesday.
The Wolverines swept the season series with a 12-6 win over Fallon.
Jamieson defeated Ross Elliot, 6-4, and Bates Logan, 6-2, but fell to Haas Zach, 6-0, to lead the team in singles. Junior Alex Perazzo and sophomore Ben Jamieson each won a singles match with Perazzo defeating Sorter Luke in a tiebreaker, 7-5. Jamieson defeated Posada Tonito, 6-0.
Getto and Malkovich defeated Beckert Grayson and Cross Michael, 6-1, and Keith Jack and Kraatz Lucas, 6-3, for Fallon’s only wins in doubles. The senior team lost to Larson Zach and Warren Noah, 6-2.
The Lady Wave lost to Truckee, 13-5, on Tuesday. Results will be included in next week’s story after Fallon takes on Incline.
