James A. “Jim” Bradley passed away August 3, 2018 surrounded by family. Jim was born July 2, 1968 to Sam and Barbara Bradley in Fallon. He attended Churchill County schools, graduating in 1986. He grew up with a love of hunting, fishing, and motor sports. These passions he carried throughout his life. He was extremely witty and always loved to make others laugh. He was one of the hardest workers and excelled at whatever he set his mind to.
After graduation he married Alicia Woods. They welcomed two daughters, Kaylynn and Samantha, who he instilled the traits of hard work and a passion for the outdoors.
He loved hunting his whole life and made many memories throughout the years. He saw much of the state, traveling to hunt what he could. He always had a love for chasing big game, but his happy place was following his dog and climbing after chukar. He put a lot of miles in following those birds.
He carried a love for motorcycles with him as he grew older, switching from dirt bikes to street bikes, he bought a Harley. He cherished the times he could go on a “Harley ride.” He went many places and made a lot of friends on these rides. He also loved top fuel dragsters and sprint cars.
Jim spent most of his adult life driving truck. He worked for Mackedon Concrete for 17 years and was always the driver most people wanted to deliver their concrete. Leaving the concrete
business, he took a job at Rawhide Mine where he worked until the time of his passing.
The last year of his life he met his soul mate and was happier than anyone has ever seen him. He and Juanita spent their time making the most of every minute. They would travel to different places to see family and friends or to just get away. He loved also loved her kids and grandchildren as his own.
He was most proud when he became a Grandpa to Kimber Grace. He was never shy to show off the pictures he had of her.
He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara.
Jim is survived by the love of his life Juanita, his daughter Kaylynn (Tailor Sponcey), his daughter Samantha (Jack Eaton), his dad Sam, sister Sherie (Kevin Mitchell), brother Jeff (Linda Bradley). He is also survived by his nieces Brianna and Laura Mitchell, Jenna Bradley, nephew Trey Bradley, and his granddaughter Kimber Sponcey. He was loved by many other friends and family.
A memorial for Jim will be Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 am at the Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr., Fallon, NV 89406.
