Carson City road report for July 30-Aug. 5

The following information applies to the period of July 30-Aug. 5:

Work will continue on the Downtown Curry Streetscape Project. For details regarding traffic impacts as a result of the project, refer to http://www.carsonproud.com/. This source will be updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work.

Fairview Drive will be closed between Butti Way and Fifth Street, Monday-Tuesday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Gordon Street will be closed at Fairview Drive, Tuesday-Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Silver Sage Drive will be closed between Clearview Drive and Roland Street, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

Fairview Drive will have reduced lanes between Sweetwater and Gordon drives, Tuesday-Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Fairview Drive will have reduced lanes at Butti Way, Wednesday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Airport Road will have reduced lanes between Woodside Drive and Minonee Lane, Thursday-Friday, 9 p.m.-8 a.m.

Intersection of Carson Street and Medical Parkway will have reduced lanes, Thursday-Friday, 6 a.m.-5 p.m.

Intersection of College Parkway and I-580 will have reduced lanes, Monday and Wednesday-Friday, 1-7 a.m.

Intersection of South Carson Street and I-580 will have reduced lanes, Monday and Wednesday-Friday, 1-7 a.m.

South Carson Street will have reduced lanes from Fairview Drive to Clear Creek Avenue, weekdays, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Special Event

The Levitt Concert Series will close King Street between Division and Thompson streets from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday.
